Pittsburgh Pirates PNC Park Artwork

Since its 2001 debut, Pittsburgh’s PNC Park has rightfully been lauded as one of the best ballparks in baseball. Legendary architect Janet Marie Smith commissioned two pieces of art, embracing two Pirates icons—”Pop Art/Pops.” a gigantic homage to both Willie Stargell and Pittsburgh native Andy Warhol, and “Clemente 3K,” a 1960s/70s Latin American poster-influenced piece honoring the great Roberto Clemente.
