2018 MLB All-Star Game

2018 marked the return of MLB’s Midsummer Classic to our nation’s capital for the first time in nearly a half century. The look of the game is all Stars and Stripes—six stars at top, emblematic of MLB’s six divisions, and two stars at the bottom, one for the National League and one for the American League. The massive 288 foot high dome of the United States Capitol, topped off with the Statue of Freedom, serves as the focal point of the event’s visual identity. Bespoke letterforms were created, conveying a dignified feel that complements the District’s familiar neoclassical architectural style.
